Wiseman's View

Nestled in the Linville Gorge area off the beaten path is the Wiseman's View Trail. It's a short .2 mile walk with a fantastic view. A wonder place for photographs and breath taking scenes that include the Linville Gorge, Hawksbill, and Table Rock.

The Hawksbill Trail

This trail is a little more grueling with 2.1 mile length. It is quite steep and places. The payoff is a summit with gorgeous views and even a glimpse of the Charlotte skyline on a clear day.

Darkside Cliffs

This hidden trail is off the Wilsons Creek area. The hike about a mile through dense woods but ends with will a nice cliff that has a great view of Grandmother and Grandfather Mountains. It is just across the valley from another trail Rough Ridge.
